The cabaret institute for kids is a non-profit organization, dedicated to making the artistic and real-life benefits of quality music education available to kids; helping kids & teens discover what makes them unique individuals; providing an opportunity for children and adolescents to develop self-confidence, discipline, and positive self-image.
Through class instruction, group interaction, and private one-on-one instruction, students learn the process of taking music from the studio and practice room to performance level, and develop music literacy and musicianship. Through the variety and diversity of the art form of Cabaret, students are given the opportunity to explore and individualize their performance in a way that reflects their unique personalities.
Tapping into Los Angeles' wealth of industry professionals, we provide kids and teens a unique opportunity to gain quality instruction in the Art of Cabaret, to discover, develop and express their own creative abilities, while working with some of the best names in the business.
With a focus on music education, The Cabaret Institute For Kids is designed to spawn artistic expression in the process of identifying and cultivating talent through learned skills in the arena of live performance based on original work of the participants. Ultimately, it is designed to offer a national model for arts education for children.
